# AI connections

> Create and revoke layZ MCP connections, copy server URLs and client configs, and connect ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and more from Settings.

**AI connections** let external clients call the layZ MCP server as you. Manage them under [Settings → Connections](https://layz.ai/app/settings/connections) or the **Connect AI** dialog.

## Requirements

* An active paid plan (Starter, Creator, or Pro)
* A supported client (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, VS Code, Copilot, Gemini, Windsurf/Devin, OpenCode, Zed, or Other)

## Create a connection

**1. Open Connect AI or Settings → Connections**

From the sidebar, header, Workflows, or editor.

**2. Choose your client**

Follow the client-specific OAuth or token instructions.

**3. Name the connection**

Use a label you will recognize later (for example “Cursor laptop”).

**4. Copy the config**

Save the MCP URL / JSON / deeplink your client needs.

**5. Approve access**

Complete browser login and consent if the client uses OAuth (`layz.ai/mcp/authorize`).

## Connection statuses

Connections appear as active, revoked, or expired. Revoke anything you do not recognize.

## MCP endpoint

Clients talk to the layZ MCP HTTP endpoint (Streamable HTTP) with a Bearer token minted for your user. Discovery documents on layz.ai help OAuth clients find authorize and token URLs automatically.
