# Account settings

> Manage layZ account settings: profile, email, security, sessions, danger zone, and where billing and AI connections live.

Open **Account settings** from the sidebar footer or user menu. Base path: `layz.ai/app/settings`.

## Settings menu

| Page | Path | What you can do |
| - | - | - |
| **General** | `layz.ai/app/settings/general` | Avatar, name, email, account ID, language (if i18n enabled) |
| **Security** | `layz.ai/app/settings/security` | Password, connected OAuth accounts, passkeys, 2FA, revoke sessions |
| **Connections** | `layz.ai/app/settings/connections` | MCP tokens and AI clients ([guide](https://docs.layz.ai/account/ai-connections.md)) |
| **Billing** | `layz.ai/app/settings/billing` | Plan, portal, packs ([guide](https://docs.layz.ai/account/billing-and-credits.md)) |
| **Danger zone** | `layz.ai/app/settings/danger-zone` | Delete account (password confirm) |

## Update your profile

**1. Open General**

Go to Settings → General.

**2. Edit name or avatar**

Upload or remove an avatar; save name changes.

**3. Change email if needed**

Follow the verification flow when you change the address.

## Security checklist

* Use a unique password or passkey
* Review active sessions and revoke unknown devices
* Enable 2FA when the option is available on your account

## Delete your account

Danger zone permanently deletes the account after password confirmation. Export any projects or media you need first. This cannot be undone from the dashboard.
