# Download Instagram Reels with layZ

> Download public Instagram Reels with layZ for editing, watermark removal, captions, and Shorts-style commentary.

layZ resolves public Instagram Reel links through the Video Downloader.

## Steps

1. Copy the Reel share URL
2. Paste into [layz.ai/app/tools/video-downloader](https://layz.ai/app/tools/video-downloader)
3. Preview and download
4. Optional: remove stickers/text, enhance, then edit

Private accounts and login-walled media will not resolve. Upload locally via Media or MCP upload instead.
