# Make videos in chat

> How to produce full videos with layZ MCP from chat: choose pipeline vs workflow vs editor, write effective prompts, and review exports.

You can produce a finished video without opening every dashboard tool manually. Pick a pattern, then prompt clearly.

## Pattern A: Utility pipeline (one job)

Best for download, remove text, or enhance only.

Download <url> with layZ, remove watermarks, then enhance 2x balanced.
Show progress and final links.
```

Tools: `layz_download_media`, `layz_remove_text`, `layz_enhance_media`, `layz_get_run`, `layz_show_run`.

## Pattern B: Guided workflow (Commentary)

Best for script + voice + edit + export.

Start Generic Commentary for <url>.
Use guided mode. Inspect footage yourself. Pause for script approval.
Then finish voice, edit, and export. Return all links and a title.

## Pattern C: Existing editor project

## Prompting tips that improve results

* State the **end state** (“exported MP4 + title”)
* Say **automatic vs guided** for scripts
* Paste **URLs or file ids** explicitly
* Ask the agent to call `layz_get_current_step` after each module
* Ask for **frame QA** before you publish
* Keep human review for brand safety and factual claims

## What success looks like

You receive:

1. Workflow and/or editor URLs
2. Export download URL
3. Short summary of what changed
4. Optional publication title
