# MCP tools reference

> Reference catalog of layZ MCP tools for workflows, pipelines, editor projects, media inspection, and exports. Use with layz_get_capabilities for live detail.

This page catalogs public MCP tools by job. For live parameter schemas and Commentary contracts, agents should call **`layz_get_capabilities`** (and editor context) rather than relying only on static docs.

## Auth note for integrators

Clients authenticate with a user Bearer token from Connect AI / OAuth. Tokens are scoped to MCP and can be revoked in Settings → Connections.
