# Media library

> Manage layZ Media: uploads, editor exports, generated files, storage limits, search, filters, starring, and bulk delete.

**Your Media** at `layz.ai/app/media` collects uploads, editor exports, and layZ-generated files.

## What you see

* Storage used vs plan limit
* Counts for videos, exports, images
* Search; filters: All / Images / Videos / Exports / Audio
* Sort by name, size, or recent
* Grid or list view
* Star, rename, download, copy link, delete
* Bulk select and delete
* Shortcut to open the Video Editor

## Storage vs workflow files

| Kind | What it is | Lifetime |
| - | - | - |
| **Cloud editor storage** | Project media under your user storage | Until you delete (capped by plan GB) |
| **Workflow / tool temp files** | Run outputs, tool results, temporary exports | Auto-delete after retention without activity |

When storage is ≥85% full, billing upgrade prompts appear. Over cap uploads fail until you free space.

## Tips

* Download final masters to your device
* Delete unused raw downloads from Media if you are near the cap
* Prefer Media for assets you reuse across projects; prefer workflow runs for ephemeral jobs
