## Voiceover

* Generate voiceover inside [Generic Commentary](https://docs.layz.ai/workflows/generic-commentary.md) after the script step
* Or use timeline **Record voice-over** to capture mic audio at the playhead
* Duck music under narration with Properties envelopes or AI/MCP

## Finish checklist

1. Captions readable on a phone
2. Hook text in the first second if needed
3. One clear focus graphic on the subject
4. Music quieter than voice
5. [Safe zones](https://docs.layz.ai/video-editor/precision-edits.md) checked
6. [Export](https://docs.layz.ai/video-editor/export.md)
